For anyone wondering what's going on at 1:00 from what I've heard I believe certain turtles usually do something like this whenever they see another turtle that they wanna mate with, (In this scenario the fingernails kinda had a pattern that resembles the turtle a bit)

Having been in a mental health institution myself, that clip actually makes me very nervous/sad. If that person was there for a genuine mental illness, they could be a danger to themselves and get hurt :( 95% of people in mental health institutions are there bc they can't function in a neuro-typical society or/& bc they can't take care of themselves, not bc they pose a danger to others like Hollywood continuously tries to make people believe

ESAs are no longer allowed on flights service animals are mainly restricted to dogs/mini horses if anyone tries to pass of anything else as a service animal they are lying. Also emotional support animals do not have public access rights. And real service dogs should never pull/sniff/lunge/bark/growl etc. they are highly trained animals.

@Douglas Bondurant from the Uk I only heard about service dogs/animals probably last year when I heard they were restricting them to dogs only, possibly cats...very small gerbils...tortoises...anyway not snakes because they don't want m-fing snakes a m-fing plane. But I thought - WHAAA?? In a country where if you're nervous of flying you could actually drive, or not bother. Never heard of anything so stupid, and this is even after planes were hijacked as well, you'd think they'd be strict on some things. Bonkers.

@Detective Ionosférico we have no idea why she recorded it originally. If it were me, and I had no idea what was going on with it but wanted to help, I would record it on snapchat and send it to a couple of my friends that I believe would have an answer. She could very well have been doing that exact thing because she said herself she wanted to know what she should do and was trying to figure out what was wrong with it. Since people don't typically know the kinds of diseases animals can have, the symptoms of rabies, or even about the existence of CWD, seeing a deer like this would freak most people out and they're probably want to do something to help. Having no knowledge, how else are they supposed to ask for help? They could record its symptoms, send it to some people they know or post on reddit for advice, then act accordingly. She was probably mid snapchat recording, then when the deer jumped she stopped recording. We don't know what happened after the fact, or why she started, but it is kinda harsh to assume she only did for social media. Typically if you record something like this and ask "what do I do" it means you're actually looking for answers, and typically people respond quickly in these situations, or if nobody she knew responded to her reddit is extremely quick to tell you what's going on and what you should do. Maybe you've never been in that kinda situation before, but I know plenty of people who have. I volunteer at a bird rehab center and after my friends, family, of family friends found out I got a ton of people recording birds acting weirdly asking me what they're doing and what they should do. Typically they save it, some of them asked Reddit if I didn't respond quickly enough, and the video started circulating from there. So we don't know why she was recording it and shouldn't assume the worst as from her words and actions, she seemed like she genuinely wanted to help and just didn't know what to do and needed advice.

@Ryan there's a lot of overlap between the two diseases in deer. In this case, I'd probably bet on rabies, bc the deer isn't really that emaciated, and rabies cases have more consistent correlation with aggression. Who knows for sure without testing it, though.

I said "even simply leaving it alone" after i said " instead of calling anyone" which means that doing that is even better than just pulling up and recording the deer suffering, but of course trying to help the deer in some way is better than any of that.

In regards to peacock lady, he was probably transporting it to another zoo. My niece worked for a zoo and it was not too unusual to fly the animal as in most cases there was less stress placed on the animal. Of course, there are many animals, due to size, weight, or a danger to people that have to be taken by ground vehicle.

they cant legally be in the cabin without a fee and theyre never allowed on seating unless they are a service animal who is actively tasking. I highly doubt they let those animals into the cabin of the plane.

I don't really see why people would get angry at them for being fun, bright and happy. I don't know, might be because I'm a childrens daycare teacher, but most kids are not annoying little shits if you treat them right and this one wasn't really doing anything wrong, just being tired after a long day. I am 30 and if I saw a random man staring at me like that, I would at least get up and leave. As a 4-year-old, I think crying is probably the way to go in that case.

For anyone wondering, the deer had rabies. That's why it lost control of it's motor functions, and couldn't move normally. If you are wondering why an animal looks like it's drunk, it's usually rabies.

That deer didn't look angry, it honestly looked like it was rabid with the way it was moving its head. If in doubt, do not approach an animal that could be rabid. Watch for erratic movements (may include seizures), hypersalivation (excess saliva from the mouth), aggression, and/or sensitivity to sound and light.

That wasn't an angry deer, my dude. That was a rabid deer, especially with the way it growled like a predator and shaking its head. I hope that lady got away safely and that deer found and put out of its misery. Rabies is basically a zombie virus, and it is absolutely horrifying to see animals affected by it. That teacher reminds me of my middle school english teacher that had a rusty hammer (it was a stuffed hammer) that he would throw at students who were talking during class. He also put people's folders on the ceiling if you didn't put them where they're supposed to go and had a gum jar for every year. He was basically one of the schools most loved teachers and got a teacher of the year award before I left.

1:50 The explanation for this is wind currents all around the world. Every year, the amazon gets a LOT of sand from updrafts coming from the Saharan desert. The reason the amazon needs this sand every year is because of the phosphorus found in Saharan sand. The sand disperses in the air and diverts to other countries as well. That is most likely the explanation for the dust shown here.

I've never seen it done to someone's hand, but what that turtle was doing is a show of dominance. When turtles get territorial, which is often, their behavior is more akin to bullying than direct aggression. They'll do things like flutter their claws in another's face, climb on top, push another away from food...Actual fighting does occur, but not very often.

I never came across a rabid animal, but you can be damn sure that if I come across an animal behaving as weirdly as that deer, I'm staying at least 15 meters away from it. The state these animals are in is absolutely terrifying.

Not far enough. A Fox with rabies can close that distance, like nothing you have ever seen. Faster than a dog. With k⁹fangs that will bite into your bones and not let go. Dogs can crunch bone, they cant bite INTO a bone.

If that guy running from the mental institute isnt a danger or psychotic I'm happy as fuck he got out of there but I really hope he figured out a way to stay out. Those places are honestly sometimes worse than prison- I'd argue most of the time. Maybe half of my trauma comes from a "mental health" institute.

As a pro nerfer, I think a nerf rival blaster would be much more effective because of how hard they shoot. The elite 2.0 commander shoots about 70fps, where as something like the rival sideswipe shoots up to 110 fps

I had a dust storm while going to scouts. We were going hiking and we had to go to Iowa and we eventually got to a major dust storm so we turned to the left. The sound of it coming onto the car was making my ears bleed. Eventually we got there, and we went hiking.

I don’t think the deer was just “angry”,I think it was rabid. If you come across a deer,fox,raccoon etc. and notice any twitching or head shaking you should definitely stay away. There are a few sociable species of deer but most of them should run away when approached by humans.

Okay, that same dust storm from the Sahara desert impacted Spain as well. And the south east which is where I live got it the worst. We usually get dust storms 1 every year or 2 and it's stated that this has been the worst it has ever been in 30 years. Which is quite the phenomena. The sky completely orange and red and it was like that for 2-3 days and then we're STILL having a massive down pour with rain which had particles of dust and sand in it. It was like Mad Max. And it's so interesting to see that the same sand storm has made it all the way to the UK.

That deer definitely had CWD. It may not have been a later stage but definitely CWD. It is similar to rabies but occurs in deer and elk. Confusion, tremors, jerky movements, loss of fear to what it usually runs away from, etc. It was so confused and once only someone got too close it acted.
